Freepik pricing runs from a free plan to $82.50 a month for the top plan on annual billing, as of October 2026, on the vendor’s page. The entry plan shows $14.50 a month and the middle plan $33.75, with a crossed-out $20, $45 and $110 beside the three annual rates. The price excludes VAT and local taxes. The platform was rebranded, and existing plans carry over.
This guide is a price check, not a Freepik review. It sets every plan side by side and covers the free plan, cancelling, refunds and ways to pay less. All figures come from the vendor’s own page and help pages, read this month. They change, so confirm the total at checkout.
Plans compared at a glance
There are three paid personal plans. The page headline says the annual rate saves 25%. By our arithmetic, the crossed-out and annual figures give about 27% off the entry plan and 25% off the other two.

Do the vendor’s pages agree?
Not fully. A help page lists 20,000, 45,000 and 300,000 a month, or 240,000, 540,000 and 3,600,000 a year, for the three paid plans. The price page shows 600,000 for the middle plan and 1,500,000 for the top one, and one regional copy calls the top plan “Pro Starter”. The help page also lists an Essential tier at 8,000 a month, which the price page does not show. When pages disagree, trust the total at checkout and the plan inside your account.
What each plan includes: AI tools and the library
The vendor calls the product an all-in-one creative platform, with an AI Suite menu for its tools. It began in 2010 as a search engine for graphic resources, and now combines AI-powered tools with a library of 250M+ photos, videos, vectors and PSD files, plus templates. All paid plans share image, video and audio models, including third-party models such as Google Veo 3.1. You can edit and use AI enhancement, and a Brand Kit keeps images on brand. The plans also include a commercial license for AI-generated work, Spaces (a visual canvas for workflows), upscalers and API access with credit-based use. A Design Editor covers social posts and presentations.
- Entry plan: the Premium plan, made for designers, marketers and content creators. A help page gives it stock photos and other library content with no download limit and no attribution.
- Middle plan: adds no-cost image generation on selected models, music rights and extra packs you can buy.
- Top plan: adds the largest allowance and the Merchandise License for physical products, and gets priority processing over the middle plan.
How Freepik AI allowances and unlimited mode work
Only Freepik’s AI tools consume credits, and library items have their own limit. Each model has its own per-image or per-clip cost, shown in the interface before you confirm. 3D generation is another tool with its own cost. Examples from the page: a Nano Banana 2 image at 4K costs 150, a four-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clip at 720p costs 940, a three-second Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 clip at 1080p costs 720, and a four-second Google Veo 3.1 clip at 4K with audio costs 2,080. Your account shows the balance and usage over time.
Unlimited mode covers 30+ models at no cost. Speed can vary at busy times, while paid use gives priority speed. The top plan adds 5,000 fast generations a month on selected models, then keeps going at a slower speed.
The model list changes. At the next renewal, the middle plan moves Nano Banana Pro (1K and 2K), Nano Banana 2 (2K), Flux.2 Flex, Flux.2 Max, GPT Image 1.0 and GPT Image 1.5 to paid use, while Nano Banana 2 (1K) stays free of cost. The top plan keeps all of them. Check the toggle inside the tool before you buy.
Expiry differs by page: the price page says the pool lasts one year, while the help page says plan allowances end with each cycle.
Freepik is now Magnific: what changed
The vendor publishes no price archive, so this guide cannot give a dated price history. It does publish product changes that affect what a plan buys.
- New name. The rename page says it is the same company, team and platform. Your login, plan and payment method carry over.
- Promo codes. A discount applies to the first payment only. Renewals are charged at the standard price.
- No free trial. A help page says paid plans have no trial, and points to the free plan.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. A help page gives free users up to 20 AI images a day with the in-house model, and another gives 10 downloads a day. Free content is for personal use and needs attribution. Paid plans add a commercial license. The free plan may cover occasional icons, but not regular client work.
How do you cancel a plan, and what do you keep?
Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your plan until the paid period ends. Per the refunds page:
- Plan allowances expire after the period ends. Extra packs are frozen, not deleted, and return if you resubscribe within three years.
- Generated work stays in your account. The license for items you took while subscribed stays valid.
- The refund window is 30 days, only if you took nothing and spent nothing. An annual refund is the full payment, with no partial refunds.
- Upgrades take effect at once, and downgrades start at the next renewal. There is no pause option.
Freepik price in local currency
The regional copy of the page that we read still showed dollar prices. We found no rupee or taka price, so this guide prints none. Your bank converts at its own rate and may add a fee, so start checkout and read the total.
Which plan fits: Premium, Premium+ or the top one?
- Occasional use: stay on the free account.
- Regular library use plus a few pictures: the entry plan, paid annually if you are sure.
- Daily AI work: the middle plan, because that mode saves on its models.
- Heavy 4K or video work: the top plan, or extra packs on the middle one.
Check the page the day you subscribe, because a plan can change without notice.
A cheaper alternative to Freepik pricing: ways to pay less
Start with the free account and test whether it covers your work. If you need more, three routes exist.
- The annual rate. The monthly figure is lower, but you pay for a full year at once.
- A first-payment promo code. Only codes shown on the vendor’s own pages count, and one lowers the first payment only. Read our promo code guide first.
- Shared access through DigitaVision. The Freepik group buy is a shared seat on one account, used through the DigitaVision browser extension. It costs $2.99 every 30 days, shown in your currency, and you can cancel anytime. The tool page lists up to 10 creative assets a day and 25 AI credits.
The group buy is a different product from a paid plan, and the tool page names no plan level. It suits regular vector and template needs on a budget. It does not suit a team that needs its own login, a specific license level or heavy generation. Access opens once payment is confirmed, and support runs every day from 8 AM to 3 AM Bangladesh time. A shared tool that is down for more than 48 hours gets a replacement or a pro-rated refund. DigitaVision is not affiliated with Freepik. Check the license of any item before client work.

FAQ
How much does Freepik pricing cost per month?
As of October 2026, the annual rate shows $14.50 a month for the entry plan, $33.75 for the middle plan and $82.50 for the top plan, beside crossed-out $20, $45 and $110. Prices exclude VAT and local taxes.
How much do Freepik credits cost?
They come with a plan, and each model has its own cost: 150 for a Nano Banana 2 image at 4K, for example. The help pages describe extra packs for the higher plans only.
How do I cancel my Freepik subscription?
Open your account’s plan page and choose Cancel subscription. That stops the next charge, and the plan runs to the end of the paid period.
What has happened to Freepik?
It was renamed Magnific. The vendor says it is the same company, with your login and plan unchanged.
Is it worth using?
It is worth it if you take library items every week or generate with AI often. For occasional use, the free plan or a shared seat on DigitaVision may fit better. Compare the cost with the work you actually do.
Is AI generation really unlimited?
Only partly. The middle and top plans include it on selected models, and the list changes. Other models cost extra.
