A US Government plan with FedRAMP certification is listed at $2,450 a year on the vendor’s FAQ page. The Enterprise plan and the Agency plan are sold only on annual billing, and multi-seat buyers are asked to contact the sales team.

Vyond pricing per month and per year: how much does Vyond cost?
The Vyond cost depends mostly on the billing choice. Annual billing is the cheaper way to pay for Starter and Professional.
- Starter: $99 a month is $1,188 over twelve months. The annual price of $699 saves $489, which is about 41 percent. The page itself says “save 40%”.
- Professional: $199 a month is $2,388 over twelve months. The annual price of $1,199 saves $1,189, about 50 percent.
- Enterprise and Agency: only annual billing exists, so the yearly price is the whole story: $1,649 and $1,999 per user.
Annual billing is charged up front. If you are not sure you will keep using it for a full year, the monthly price gives you an exit, at a higher monthly cost.
What the Vyond Starter plan includes
The Vyond Starter plan is the entry point for one person. According to the pricing page, it includes:
- AI avatars and AI tools, including the Vyond Go instant video maker.
- More than 650 high-quality text-to-speech voices.
- Screen and webcam recording.
- Text to video, including document, script and URL to video.
- 10,000 AI credits per month.
Starter does not include team collaboration tools, the Shutterstock library of more than 4 million stock assets, or instant translation into 95 languages. Those start at Professional. Brand management tools start at Enterprise and Agency, and enterprise security features start at Enterprise.
Features of Vyond that decide the price
Vyond is an AI-powered video creation platform that sits between classic animation software and newer AI video tools. That mix explains the price. It has two main parts. Vyond Go drafts a script and a video from a prompt or a document. Vyond Studio is the drag-and-drop editor, where you build a video from scratch or start from templates.
The visual styles are the main draw. You can make an animated video with customizable characters, add charts and infographics, use AI avatars, or switch to a photorealistic look. Generative AI adds images from text prompts. The higher plans add collaboration, brand management tools and translation, plus the Shutterstock asset library, which is where much of the price difference comes from.
The use case decides what matters. An L&D team building training content and eLearning cares about brand consistency and translation. Marketers making business video care about speed and templates. A freelancer may only need quick export and character customization, and a smoother workflow from script to finished clip.
What are Vyond credits and how far do they go?
Since May 2025, Vyond pricing includes a credit system, and its AI capabilities run on credits. Credits pay for AI features: avatars, text to image, text to speech, translation and Vyond Go video generation.
The credit table on the pricing page gives these costs:
- A Vyond Go video from a text, document, script or URL prompt uses 800 credits.
- Generating one image or one text-to-avatar uses 160 credits.
- High-quality text to speech uses 2 credits for every 10 characters.
At 800 credits per generation, the 10,000 credits in Starter cover about twelve Vyond Go videos a month if you use them on nothing else. Professional’s 20,000 credits cover about twenty-five. Your real number will be lower if you also make images and voice-overs. The pricing page states credits per user, per month, so plan around one month at a time.
Vyond pricing history: what changed in 2025
Vyond pricing went up on May 7, 2025. Vyond’s Pricing Update FAQ explains the change:
- The new prices apply to all new Starter (formerly called Premium), Professional and Enterprise subscriptions bought on or after May 7, 2025.
- Existing subscriptions moved to the new prices at renewal on or after that date.
- The Essential plan stopped being offered to new users. People already on it kept their plan while auto-renew stayed on.
- The Enterprise Plus plan was merged into Enterprise.
- An AI usage credit system was added to the plans.
The older prices are not published on the pages read for this article, so they are not listed here. If you bought before that date and see a different price at renewal, this change is the reason.
Vyond pricing for free: is there a free plan or free trial?
There is no permanent free plan. There is a trial, and the limits are strict. According to Vyond’s trial page:
- The trial lets you create up to 3 videos.
- Videos carry a watermark, and the trial does not include video downloads.
- The trial comes with 2,000 credits, and AI avatars are not included.
In some regions it also offers a paid plan trial for $10. It lasts 7 days and comes with 3,000 credits on Starter or 5,000 on Professional. It converts to a subscription after 7 days unless you cancel, and it is non-refundable. Set a reminder if you take it.
Vyond pricing in BDT, INR and PKR
Vyond pricing is shown in US dollars. No Bangladeshi, Indian or Pakistani price page was found on Vyond’s own site, so this article lists no BDT, INR or PKR figures for Vyond itself. A third-party currency converter is not the same as what your card will be charged. Your bank adds its own exchange rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee.

Vyond education pricing
Vyond education pricing is not listed as a separate price on the pages read for this article. Vyond’s education page points to the same pricing page and to the free trial, and it describes the platform for teachers at every level and for adult students. The older GoAnimate for Schools product was phased out in 2019.
If you teach, try the trial first to check the fit. Then ask Vyond support whether an education discount exists for your school. Do not assume a discount applies until it is confirmed in writing.
Why is Vyond so expensive?
Many people say Vyond is expensive, and the cost of Vyond does reflect who it is built for. Vyond pricing is aimed at organizations of any size that want creative control over their video, though its FAQ says the customers are mostly larger ones: more than 17,000 companies, and more than two-thirds of the Fortune 500 rely on Vyond. Learning and development (L&D) teams, sales enablement, HR and internal communications use it for video production at scale, from training to explainer videos.
That focus shows in the plans. You pay for brand control, collaboration, security, translation and a large asset library, not just for an animation editor. For a solo creator who makes a few videos a month, the per-user price can feel high next to general video software. For a company replacing an agency or a custom animation studio, the same price can look small. For a solo creator, the tool is rarely the cheapest option.
Ask a simple question before you buy: how many videos will you make in a month, and do you need its characters, avatars and templates, or just a way to edit clips?
Cheapest legitimate ways to use Vyond
- Start with the trial. It costs nothing and shows whether the editor suits you. Remember the watermark and the missing downloads.
- Pay annually if you are sure. The annual price of Starter is about 41 percent below paying monthly for a year.
- Buy only the seats you need. Starter is a single-user plan. Professional and above are per-user, so every extra seat adds a full price.
- Look at shared access. DigitaVision lists the Vyond group buy, a shared seat on one Vyond account used through the DigitaVision Chrome extension. Several members share the account and each signs in once. It costs $5.99 at the time of reading, and the tool page shows the billing period.

A shared seat is a different product from a plan in your own name. Fair-use limits apply, and the video allowance is listed on the tool page, so compare it with the number of videos you make before you order.
