CapCut Pro Price in 2026: CapCut Pricing for Free vs Standard vs Pro and Cheaper Ways to Pay

DigitaVision TeamTools and accounts team

11 min read

The CapCut Pro price is $19.99 a month on the vendor’s own pricing page, as of October 2026. The vendor’s guide to Standard and Pro adds a yearly plan that works out to about $15 a month (our arithmetic). Your own total depends on your country, your device and the offers your account sees.

This guide covers every plan in one table, shows what changed, converts the price into BDT, INR and PKR at a dated exchange rate, and explains why the phone-store figure can differ from the web figure. At the end you get the cheapest legitimate routes, including shared or personal access through DigitaVision.

All vendor figures come from capcut.com pages read in October 2026. CapCut’s own price list calls its numbers “for reference only” and says final pricing, taxes and offers appear after you sign in. Confirm each one at checkout.

How much is CapCut Pro? The short answer

Here is the quick version for October 2026:

  • Monthly: Pro is listed at $19.99.
  • Yearly: the guide dated 23 September lists the annual plan at $179.99. Twelve monthly payments cost $239.88, so it is $59.89, or about 25 percent, lower (our arithmetic).
  • In your country: not fixed. The help center says the price “can vary depending on your region, device, and available promotions”.
  • Where to read it: sign in, then use Upgrade on the web, the Pro screen in the computer app, or the join link under your nickname on the phone.

CapCut pricing: every plan in one table

There is now more than one paid tier. The table uses the vendor’s price list and help center.

Plan Price (as of October 2026) What the vendor says
Free 0 Free templates and basic editing tools.
Standard Not printed on the public price list Launched in March for casual creators, with around 100 GB of storage and essential AI tools.
Pro $19.99 monthly, $179.99 yearly Premium assets, commercial-use content, advanced AI and up to 1 TB of storage.
Ultra $79 Listed beside Pro. The page text does not describe it.

The price list also shows $12.49 without a readable plan name, and the guide says its team plan starts “around $24.99 per month”. Because the two pages differ, this article names no team price: read the total at checkout.

CapCut free vs CapCut Pro: key differences

The vendor’s guide describes the free tier as basic tools for cutting, trimming, merging and splitting clips, plus filters, transitions, text, stickers, subtitles and a free music library, with limited access to premium templates, advanced effects, fonts and music. Compare CapCut free and Pro on those limits before you pay.

CapCut Standard vs Pro: AI, storage and platforms

The vendor’s help page dated 2 April sets the two paid tiers side by side. Standard suits casual, mobile-first editing, with noise reduction and other essential AI tools. Pro adds unlimited premium assets, team collaboration tools, cross-platform editing on mobile, desktop and web, up to 1 TB of cloud storage, and AI-powered tools such as camera tracking and auto captions. CapCut is a video editor made by ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, and Pro is aimed at short-form creators who publish to Instagram and YouTube too.

Export settings

The vendor says Pro unlocks 4K at 60 frames per second and watermark-free exports for videos that use Pro materials, even at 1080p. Its export help adds that free accounts may face watermarks or bitrate limits at that size.

Two vendor pages disagree on small points. The guide calls the free plan “Standard”, while the March page presents CapCut Standard as a new plan. The monthly and yearly plans page still lists 100 GB for Pro, while the March page says Pro storage grew from 100 GB to 1 TB. Check the CapCut plan screen in your account.

What changed: the CapCut price increase and membership plans

Prices quoted in 2025 are out of date for new subscribers. The vendor explains the CapCut price increase on its help center, and the story is a restructure, not a simple rise.

  • August 2024: the vendor ended its 1 GB of free storage, according to its guide.
  • 25 March: it published Understanding the Pricing Change. The page says a new membership structure was introduced and that “previous pricing is no longer available for new subscribers”.
  • Why it costs more: the page says the original plan gained more professional and marketing-focused features, which need extra development, infrastructure and maintenance.
  • What it adds: the upgrades include AI points rising from 550 to 1,200 and cloud storage from 100 GB to 1TB, for a more comprehensive editing experience.
  • A new Standard plan: launched for editing enthusiasts who do not need every Pro feature.

The new pricing structure applies to new customers, so if you joined earlier, your renewal price may differ from the updated pricing a new customer sees.

CapCut Pro subscription plans: free trial, cancelling and platforms

The vendor says Pro usually offers monthly and yearly plans to suit different creative needs, and that you can subscribe at any time. The membership is account-based: once you pay on any platform, the benefits apply on web, desktop and mobile. The desktop app cannot take payment itself, so it opens your browser and sends you to the web store.

The vendor’s phone prompts offer “Try 7 Days Free” to eligible accounts, so a CapCut Pro free trial may appear in your app. Check the terms on the screen. On cancelling, the guide says you can cancel at any time through the platform where you bought the plan, and that a cancellation takes effect from the following month.

Is CapCut Pro worth it? Who should pay

Before upgrading to CapCut Pro, ask three questions. Do you need premium features for client work? Do you need 4K export or a clean, watermark-free result? Do you use the CapCut AI tools every week? If every answer is no, the free tier may be enough.

The guide points the paid plan at content creators who want trending assets, marketers who need premium stock, frequent editors who keep meeting the paywall, and teams that want more storage and a smoother workflow. It calls the free version more than enough for light to moderate video editing.

CapCut Pro price in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh

The vendor does not publish a fixed local price list for these countries. Your price depends on your account region and, on a phone, the store you use, so any local figure you read elsewhere is a screenshot or a conversion.

Here is a conversion, labelled as an estimate. It uses the rate of 22 October ($1 = 123.71 BDT, 94.59 INR, 277.00 PKR, from exchangerate-api.com, last updated that day). It is approximate, it adds no tax, and it is not a price the vendor charges.

Item USD BDT (approx.) INR (approx.) PKR (approx.)
Pro, monthly 19.99 2,473 1,891 5,537
Pro, yearly 179.99 22,266 17,026 49,857

For the CapCut Pro price in Pakistan, India or Bangladesh, the real figure is on your checkout screen. A local card may add a foreign-currency fee. The vendor’s price-difference page says stores apply localized pricing based on the region of your store account.

Why the price differs: app store vs web checkout

The same plan can show two prices. The vendor’s price inconsistency page, dated 8 April, lists three causes:

  • Region mismatch: if your Apple or Google account region does not match your location or SIM region, the app can show a different price from the payment amount.
  • Currency conversion and local rules: the app may show a base currency while the charge is processed in your local currency.
  • Taxes and fees: VAT or sales tax may be added at the payment step by the store.

Its advice: match your store region to your country and read the final payment page before you confirm.

Cheapest legitimate ways to pay for CapCut Pro

No secret code lowers the price for everyone. These honest options can be combined.

  1. Stay on the free tier if you edit casually.
  2. Choose the yearly plan if you will use Pro all year. It is about a quarter below twelve monthly payments (our arithmetic).
  3. Look at Standard if you do not need every Pro feature. Read its price and what the plan includes in your CapCut account.
  4. Check the offers your account shows. The vendor says applicable offers appear after sign-in.
  5. Use shared or personal access through DigitaVision.

DigitaVision is not affiliated with CapCut. It offers three routes, and the live tool pages always show the current price and inclusions.

  • Shared seat: the CapCut group buy page sells a seat on one shared account, used through the DigitaVision Chrome extension, at $3.49 per 30 days. It opens the CapCut web editor and is not described as Pro.
  • Personal login, one month: Personal login for one month is a private login set up by the team, at $5.99 per 30 days. It renews every 30 days and you can cancel. A 20-day warranty after purchase is included.
  • Personal login, six months: Personal login for six months is a private login for one payment of $29.99, with no renewal.

Both personal plans include desktop access. AI features are not included in any of the three. Personal logins are usually ready in 2 to 4 hours, and in rare cases up to 24 hours. You can pay in dollars or BDT. Support answers every day from 8 AM to 3 AM Bangladesh time. If a shared tool is down for more than 48 hours, it gets a replacement or a pro-rated refund, and a personal account gets a replacement first.

The trade-off is plain: these options leave out the vendor’s Pro AI features, and the personal pages list the computer app without promising mobile or web editing. If you rely on AI points or want an account in your own name with the vendor, buy from the vendor. To compare the two routes, read CapCut Pro: shared or personal, and what happens when credits run out, or browse the video tools category.

Which CapCut Pro plan should you choose?

A short checklist can help you decide between Standard or Pro. Choose by how you edit, not by the lowest number on the page. A lower CapCut Pro price is no bargain if you never use what it unlocks.

  • Casual or learning: keep using the free tier until a locked effect blocks you.
  • Regular creator: weigh Pro vs Standard, and pick Pro for commercial-use assets or advanced AI.
  • Heavy AI video work: Pro includes 1,200 AI points; compare it with Ultra on the vendor’s price list.
  • A team or a private login: read the team figure at checkout, or see the personal pages above and note the AI limit.

The bottom line on CapCut Pro pricing: the monthly and yearly figures above are the vendor’s own as of October 2026, while local prices, taxes and offers vary by account. Always confirm on the payment screen before you subscribe.

FAQ

How much does CapCut Pro cost?

The vendor lists Pro at $19.99 a month as of October 2026, with a yearly plan at $179.99. Your own price can differ by region, device, tax and promotion, so read the final payment screen.

Is Pro worth paying for?

It is worth it if you use premium assets or AI every week. For basic cutting, captions and social clips, the free tier is often enough.

What is the CapCut Pro price in Pakistan?

The vendor does not publish a fixed Pakistan price. At the rate of 22 October, the monthly figure is roughly PKR 5,537, an approximate conversion and not a price the vendor charges. Your checkout screen shows the real amount.

Why is Pro so expensive now?

The vendor says the original plan was upgraded with more professional and marketing-focused features that need extra development and infrastructure. AI points rose from 550 to 1,200, storage from 100 GB to 1 TB, and the earlier price is closed to new customers.

Why is Pro dearer on my phone than on the website?

Phone purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which use your account region, local currency and tax. The vendor advises matching your store region to your country.

How can I avoid paying full price for CapCut?

You cannot remove the price, but you can lower what you pay. Use the free tier, pick the yearly plan if you need Pro all year, or read the offers your account shows. The shared and personal DigitaVision pages show current prices live.
