LinkedIn Learning Price in India: Subscription Cost, Premium Plans and GST

DigitaVision TeamTools and accounts team

14 min read

LinkedIn Learning price in India is not one number, because LinkedIn does not sell a stand-alone plan for its courses to individuals. Its help center says the closest match is the Career plan, which starts at US$39.99 a month or US$239.88 a year on LinkedIn’s own page, as of October 2026, before 18% GST. LinkedIn prints no rupee amount on its public pages, so the rupee total appears only when you start a purchase.

This guide shows what LinkedIn publishes for each plan, how GST is added, what you get for the money, how the trial and cancellation work, and what to compare it with. At the end there is a short section on DigitaVision’s own listings, which work differently from a normal LinkedIn bill.

Key takeaways: LinkedIn Learning price at a glance

  • There is no one-off purchase of an individual course. The courses come with a paid plan or through an employer.
  • The plan LinkedIn names as closest to a personal subscription is Career: US$39.99 per month or US$239.88 per year, as printed on LinkedIn’s page.
  • LinkedIn’s public pages show prices in US dollars and a few other currencies, not rupees. INR is a supported billing currency, and the rupee total shows at checkout.
  • GST is 18% and appears as a separate line on the invoice, on top of the plan price.

Any site that gives you one fixed rupee figure is quoting a number LinkedIn does not publish. We left those figures out on purpose.

LinkedIn Learning pricing by plan, before GST

These are the “starting at” prices on LinkedIn’s Career, Business, All-in-One, Company Page and Sales Navigator pages. LinkedIn marks them as estimates that may leave out GST, VAT and promotions, and says slight variations may occur across device types. LinkedIn dates the figures on each Premium page: Career, Business and All-in-One April 20, 2026, the Company Page figures March 24, 2026 and the Sales Navigator figures September 27, 2026. Prices are per license and can change.

Plan Includes LinkedIn Learning? Monthly billing (US$) Annual billing (US$) Annual saving
Career Yes US$39.99 US$239.88 50%
Business Yes US$69.99 US$539.88 36%
All-in-One Yes US$89.99 US$899.88 17%
Company Page No US$99.99 US$839.88 30%
Sales Navigator Core Yes US$119.99 US$1,079.88 25%
Sales Navigator Advanced Not listed in LinkedIn’s help comparison US$159.99 US$1,799.88 6%

The “includes” column comes from LinkedIn’s Learning Help comparison of its paid plans. Premium All-in-One is marked “currently available to a limited group” on its page. Career and Business also have a “duo” option that covers two people. Recruiter Lite is a separate hiring product with no course access in that comparison, and it is not priced here.

Why you cannot get a LinkedIn Learning account on its own

LinkedIn’s “LinkedIn Learning subscription overview” help article says LinkedIn Learning does not offer one-off, a la carte purchases of individual courses, and no individual plan of its own. To get the courses, you need an active paid plan. LinkedIn’s help comparison lists unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning on Career, Business, All-in-One and Sales Navigator Core. The article says Premium includes LinkedIn Learning alongside a suite of other products and services. It names two routes: the individual subscription is LinkedIn Premium, or access comes through your organization. The organization route is sold to companies, and LinkedIn’s learning solutions pages list no price and offer a chat with a sales consultant. If your employer decides to provide LinkedIn Learning, contact LinkedIn Learning support through the chatbot or a support ticket, as the article advises.

Monthly or annual: what is the fee?

Annual billing can cost less per month on every plan in the table. For Career, US$239.88 a year works out at US$19.99 a month, which is our arithmetic. LinkedIn says annual billing saves 50% on Career and 36% on Business. An annual subscription only makes sense if you will learn all year. A course sprint that ends in three months is usually cheaper on monthly billing, because you can stop after the third bill.

How much does LinkedIn Learning cost in India, in rupees?

Search results show different rupee amounts for the same plan, and there are three common reasons:

  • LinkedIn says its listed prices are estimates.
  • Some pages quote the price before GST, and some after.
  • Exchange rates move, and promotions come and go.

LinkedIn’s supported currencies page lists the Indian rupee (INR) for billing, so the rupee price is calculated inside your account. The safe way to check is to sign in from India, open the plan page, choose a plan and read the total before you confirm. That total, with GST, is the real cost on that day for your account.

GST on a LinkedIn plan in India

LinkedIn’s India GST help page says LinkedIn charges GST at 18% on all its products and services. GST is shown as a separate line item on your invoice, in addition to the purchase price. LinkedIn’s tax page says 18% applies to customers without a valid GST registration in India. The help page also says LinkedIn began selling through a dedicated India-based selling entity on April 1, 2026, for eligible businesses.

Here is an example to show the arithmetic. It is not a LinkedIn price. If a plan were priced at ₹1,000 before tax, GST at 18% would add ₹180 and the invoice total would be ₹1,180.

Non-enterprise customers with a GST registration number can enter it in their billing information. LinkedIn recommends that businesses check the GST treatment with a tax advisor, and says a GST number must be provided during or before the purchase if you want to recover the GST as an input credit. If you buy for your own learning, you can ignore this.

Pakistan and Bangladesh: what you pay

The same rule applies for readers in Pakistan and Bangladesh: LinkedIn publishes no PKR or BDT price list. Its supported currencies page lists the Pakistani rupee (PKR) and the Bangladeshi taka (BDT) for billing, so the amount is calculated inside your account when you buy. For tax, LinkedIn’s tax page lists Bangladesh at 15% for consumer purchases. It does not list a Pakistan rate, so check the total at checkout. We do not give PKR or BDT amounts, because LinkedIn’s public pages do not show them.

What the LinkedIn Learning courses include

LinkedIn’s overview says you can develop skills, get personalized course recommendations based on your interests and add completed courses to your LinkedIn profile. Courses are available only with an active plan, so to access LinkedIn Learning you must keep one running. The Career page promises more than 25,000 courses taught by industry experts, while LinkedIn’s Learning page gives 26,500, so the two pages do not match exactly. That Learning page also lists 1,300+ hand-curated learning paths, role guides for over 35 roles, more than 300,000 quiz questions and 10,000 exercise files. It names professional certificates from providers such as Microsoft, and more than 2,000 courses that prepare learners for over 120 off-platform credentials. Its LinkedIn Learning content comes with subtitles in 20+ languages and 7 native language libraries.

LinkedIn’s business site says “LinkedIn Learning is designed to build the most in-demand skills for every professional,” and describes its tech content as high-quality. LinkedIn’s Learning page also describes personalized learning: you set career goals and use Skill Evaluations to find the right course or learning path.

LinkedIn’s help center says certificates of completion carry no extra charge for content in your plan, and are open to learners whose active plan includes the courses, such as Career or Business. It also says they are not accredited and are not the same as a degree or a software certification.

The plan you pay for adds more than courses. According to LinkedIn’s help comparison, Career adds 5 InMail credits a month, a list of who viewed your profile for 365 days, advanced search filters for jobs, profile writing assistance and a message proofreader. Premium Business has 15 InMail credits, business insights such as company growth trends and hiring activity, and a custom button on your profile. All-in-One has 30 InMail credits, and Sales Navigator Core has 50.

Which plan fits which goal

  • Learning for a job search or a career move: Career, the plan LinkedIn names as nearest to a personal subscription.
  • Outreach, clients and company insights, with the courses included: Business.
  • Daily prospecting at volume: Sales Navigator Core or Advanced, which cost much more than Career.
  • Hiring: a recruiter product, which has no course access in the comparison.
  • You log in a few times a year: the free account is probably enough, but it does not unlock the library.

Is there a LinkedIn Learning free trial? Student and other routes

A free trial for a Premium subscription is the route LinkedIn offers to individuals. It is open to eligible members, and its help center says a 1-month free trial may be available on its paid plans. Another article says trial length varies by region or promotion. Not every member qualifies, you must enter a valid credit card, and at the end the subscription plan converts to a paid one unless you cancel first. If you cancel, you may not get another trial for at least 12 months, and you lose the Premium features straight away.

There is no student price on the Career page, and we found no LinkedIn Learning offer for students on LinkedIn’s pages. The Microsoft 365 student promotion that bundled Career is marked “no longer available” in LinkedIn’s help center, and new codes are no longer issued. We found no “1 year free” deal on LinkedIn’s own pages, so treat any such claim from a third party with care. For the trade-offs, see our cost-per-use guide to the paid plans.

How to cancel LinkedIn Learning and what refunds cover

LinkedIn says you can cancel at any time. A cancelled paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, and you lose the courses at that point. To avoid another charge, cancel at least one day before your next billing date, for example if, once you have started with LinkedIn Learning, the courses are not for you. LinkedIn Premium subscriptions, which cover the courses, may be refundable within 7 days from the date the subscription is charged, if the paid features have not been used, according to LinkedIn’s refund policy. A previous refund may affect eligibility, and purchases made through the iOS app are refunded by Apple.

Is LinkedIn Learning worth the price?

It is worth it if you will use the courses often. Someone who finishes a course a month on the annual plan pays about US$19.99 a month for it, which is our arithmetic from LinkedIn’s annual price. A job seeker who also messages recruiters gets more from Career. If you use LinkedIn only now and then, ask whether it is worth your time and money before you commit. If the honest answer to “how many courses will I finish” is “a few”, start with the trial or the monthly plan to give LinkedIn Learning a go. Whether LinkedIn Learning is worth it comes down to that count.

Count the cost per use: courses finished, InMails sent, searches run with the advanced filters. Because the rupee price is set at checkout, add the 18% GST before you compare it with other online learning.

LinkedIn Learning alternatives: Coursera Plus vs LinkedIn Learning and Skillshare

If courses are all you need, compare the price with other online learning subscriptions. Coursera’s Plus page shows Coursera Plus at $59 a month with cancel anytime, a 7-day trial on monthly payments and a 14-day refund window on annual ones. Skillshare’s pricing page shows $13.99 a month with an annual payment of $167.88 USD. Both are as of October 2026 and can vary by region. Skillshare is built around creative skills classes, while Coursera is built around university-style courses and certificates, so compare content, not only the monthly figure.

A different way to pay: DigitaVision’s LinkedIn listings

DigitaVision is not affiliated with LinkedIn. It lists two things that touch LinkedIn Learning, and they work differently.

The LinkedIn personal account

The LinkedIn personal account is not a shared seat. It is a premium account set up by DigitaVision’s team for you alone, with LinkedIn Premium Career or Business activated on your own LinkedIn profile, so your history and settings stay apart from every other customer. The listing says both plans include LinkedIn Learning. It costs $19.99 as one payment for 2 months of access, with no renewal. You need an existing LinkedIn profile to use it.

Two conditions matter. No login details are needed for activation, so you never hand over a password. Setup usually takes 2 to 4 hours and can take up to 24 hours in rare cases. We do not sell Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite. The listing says full warranty support is included, and under the refund and warranty policy a personal account problem gets a replacement first. Support runs every day from 8 AM to 3 AM Bangladesh time, and payment can be made in USD or BDT.

The Lynda shared seat on an online learning platform

The Lynda group buy is a shared seat: several members share one account through the DigitaVision Chrome extension, and each signs in once. The listing describes Lynda as now the LinkedIn Learning platform, with expert-led business, technology and creative courses, certificates and use across devices. It costs $2.99 for 30 days, renews every 30 days and can be cancelled anytime, with fair-use limits. It is learning only: the listing names no job-search tools such as InMail credits. A shared seat means the account, the learning history and the billing are not yours alone, so it is not an official LinkedIn plan. A shared tool that is down for more than 48 hours gets a replacement or a pro-rated refund under the refund and warranty policy. You can also browse other tools in the productivity and collaboration tools category.

Bottom line: LinkedIn Learning price in India

The price is set in your account, not on a public list. Use the dollar prices above as a guide, add 18% GST, and read the rupee total on the last screen before you pay. Choose Career for learning with a job search, Business for outreach and clients, and Sales Navigator only if lead generation is your daily work. If you want the courses without a LinkedIn bill in your name, see the two listings above.
