10 min read

vidIQ pricing has three self-serve plans as of October 2026. Free costs $0 and includes 150 AI credits a month. Boost is billed yearly at $199 ($19 if you pay month to month) and includes 2,000 credits. Max is $39 a month billed yearly ($468 a year) and includes 6,000 credits. Enterprise and coaching are quoted separately.

This guide puts every plan in one table, shows the real 12-month cost, explains what changed this year and lists the cheapest legitimate routes for YouTube creators, including shared and personal access through DigitaVision. Every vendor fact comes from vidIQ’s own pricing page, read in October 2026.

vidIQ pricing at a glance

The vidIQ pricing page lists Free, Boost and Max, plus Enterprise for teams. There is no “Pro” card any more. The page loads its amounts with JavaScript, so the dollar figures below come from the page’s plan data for US visitors, checked in October 2026. The currency follows your location, as the section on local prices explains.

Plan Monthly price Yearly price AI credits per month Best for
Free $0 $0 150 Testing the tools and small YouTube channels
Boost $19 month to month $199 a year (about $16.58 a month) 2,000 Creators who publish every week
Max $49 month to month $468 a year ($39 a month) 6,000 Heavy users and busy channels
Enterprise Contact sales Custom Brands, agencies and networks

The Boost and Max cards say “Billed yearly. Cancel anytime.” The month-to-month amounts come from the plan data behind the page, and the $120 yearly saving the page shows for Max matches them. Use the Monthly and Yearly toggle on the vidIQ pricing page to see the amounts your account gets, because offers can differ between visitors.

vidIQ pricing plans: how much does each plan cost?

The vidIQ cost depends on the plan and on the billing cycle you choose. Here is what each of the vidIQ plans includes, from the vendor’s own list.

Free version

The free version costs $0 and has limited access. It includes 150 AI credits every month, niche trends, content ideas backed by data and personalized growth tips from the AI Coach. It also includes vidIQ MCP, which connects your account to Claude, ChatGPT or any other AI that supports MCP. Access is limited, but it is real software, not a short trial.

The vidIQ Boost plan

This is the main paid plan. It adds 2,000 AI credits a month, unlimited trends research, unlimited subscriber insights, thumbnail tools for click-worthy thumbnails in minutes, optimization tools to get more views, an AI Coach with deep thinking and masterclasses from top creators. The vendor says Boost includes more than 30 advanced tools for researching, ideating, creating and publishing, with personalized keyword ideas and competitive intel among them.

The Max plan

Max includes everything in Boost, plus 6,000 credits a month, up to three times more coach conversations, a Max Mode that vidIQ calls five times more powerful, and up to 11 hours of short clipping and generations. The page sells it on yearly billing.

Enterprise and coaching

Enterprise is for brands, agencies and networks with several channels. It adds roles and permissions, priority onboarding and cross-channel reporting. vidIQ suggests it if you manage more than three channels or want several team members on the account. There is no public price. The Boost plus Coaching option adds one-on-one coaching with a personal strategist to full Boost access, and its price is not shown either.

Free vidIQ: is the vidIQ free plan enough?

For a new channel, often yes. The free plan gives you niche trends, daily ideas and coach tips, so you can learn the dashboard before you pay anything. The limit is the 150 credits. AI tools such as the thumbnail maker and video ideas draw on them, and so do MCP calls. It is a good way of getting started with limited access.

Move to a paid plan when you run out of credits early in the month, or when you need unlimited trends research and subscriber insights. Credits are the main thing that separates the three plans, so count the AI actions you use in a normal month before you choose. Keyword research and a few uploads fit the free version. A daily publishing schedule needs higher limits.

What changed in vidIQ pricing this year?

These are the changes visible on the pricing page today. The vendor does not publish a price changelog, so earlier dated prices are not listed here.

  • Pro is gone. The page now shows Free, Boost and Max. Older guides still mention a cheaper Pro plan.
  • Credits set the tiers. Each plan states a monthly allowance, from 150 on Free to 6,000 on Max.
  • Yearly billing leads. Boost and Max show “Billed yearly” on their cards, with a Monthly and Yearly toggle above them.
  • The MCP connection is on every plan. The page says it is available on Free too, with tool calls using your credits.

What is the vidIQ price in BDT, INR and PKR?

vidIQ chooses the currency from your location. On 16 October 2026 the pricing page showed US dollars to a US visitor and Indian rupees to a visitor in India. In rupees, Boost was ₹999 month to month or ₹4,999 billed yearly (shown as ₹416.58 a month), and Max was ₹2,490 month to month or ₹23,988 billed yearly (shown as ₹1,999 a month). Free stayed at ₹0. No taka or Pakistani rupee price was seen, and no currency selector. Any local figure on another site is a conversion, not a vendor price, so open the page from your own location to see what applies to you. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may add a fee.

On DigitaVision you can switch the header between USD and BDT, and the prices on the pages linked below follow your choice. Card, PayPal, bKash and crypto are the payment methods listed at checkout.

What does vidIQ cost over 12 months?

This table adds up a full year using the prices above. It shows why the billing choice matters as much as the plan.

Plan Paid month to month Paid yearly Difference
Free $0 $0 None
Boost $228 (12 x $19) $199 $29 saved
Max $588 (12 x $49) $468 $120 saved

Yearly billing makes vidIQ pricing cheaper per month, but you pay it all at once, so the monthly figure is not the whole story. If you are unsure that you will use the tool for twelve months, the monthly plan for Boost gives you an exit sooner. Check your billing date before you renew.

vidIQ features by plan: Boost vs Max vs Free

The table shows which tools and features unlock at each tier, based on the vendor’s pricing page.

Feature Free Boost Max
AI credits per month 150 2,000 6,000
Niche trends Included Unlimited research Included
Subscriber insights Not listed Unlimited Included
Coach Growth tips Deep thinking Up to 3x more conversations
Titles and thumbnails Not listed Included Included
Masterclasses Not listed Included Included
Max Mode and clipping No No Included, up to 11 hours
MCP for Claude and ChatGPT Included Included Included

Read “Not listed” as “not on the vendor’s list for that plan”. Features and limits change, so confirm on the vendor page before you pay.

Is vidIQ worth it?

It is an AI-powered YouTube tool, and its advanced features are built around video research and tag suggestions that help videos show up in YouTube search. No tool controls search rankings, so judge it on the research time it saves. vidIQ pricing is easy to justify when the saving is worth more than the fee. A keyword research tool, YouTube keywords with search volume, trending topics and title ideas cut the hours you spend guessing what to make, and competitor analysis shows what works in your niche. Creators who upload every week usually get the most from the Boost plan, because the extra credits and unlimited trends research are used each time they plan a video. You can also optimize an existing video: better video titles and tags can lift video performance without new filming.

It is less useful if you publish rarely or only want basic analytics, since the free version already covers the basics. No tool can promise more views. Treat the data as a guide for your own video content and test one change at a time.

What are the cheapest legitimate ways to pay for vidIQ?

  1. Start on the free version. It costs nothing and shows whether the keyword and trend tools suit your workflow.
  2. Pay yearly if you are sure. The 12-month table shows the saving on Boost and Max.
  3. Use a shared seat. The vidIQ group buy is one shared account, used through the DigitaVision browser extension. It costs $2.99 on DigitaVision, and its fair-use limits are listed on the tool page.
  4. Use a personal Boost login. vidIQ Boost Personal is a private login of your own, set up by the DigitaVision team. It costs $5.99 on DigitaVision, and its warranty and setup time are on the page.

Shared and personal access are different products from the vendor’s plans. The shared seat follows fair-use limits, so heavy daily use is better served by a login of your own. DigitaVision is not affiliated with vidIQ. The shared vs personal guide for CapCut explains the same trade-off, and the SEO and marketing tools hub lists related tools. If a replacement is ever needed, the refund and warranty policy covers it.

Which vidIQ plan should you choose?

Pick the plan from your credit needs, not from the feature list. The short version of vidIQ pricing:

  • New or small channel: start on Free and watch how fast you use the 150 credits.
  • Weekly uploads: the Boost plan covers research, optimization and thumbnails, and yearly billing is the cheaper way to pay.
  • Daily publishing or an assistant connected through MCP: Max has the headroom.
  • Agency or more than three channels: ask the vendor about Enterprise.
  • Tight budget: compare the shared seat and the personal Boost login against the vendor page.
