Two limits matter before you order. Microsoft Copilot usage is not included with this plan, even though Microsoft lists Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps for its own subscription. And the offer gives the premium Microsoft 365 features only: professional email on a custom domain is not included. Microsoft sells custom business email with its business plans, such as Business Basic, Business Standard and Business Premium, so a small business that needs a company mailbox should buy a business plan from Microsoft.

What is the difference between Microsoft 365 Personal and Family?
As of October 2026, Microsoft sells Personal for one person and Family for one to six people, who each use their own Microsoft account. Family shares a larger cloud storage pool, and its Copilot AI features are for the subscription owner only. This page sells the Personal account, one private login, so it is not a family subscription.
Does Microsoft 365 Personal include business email or a custom domain?
No. This offer gives the premium Microsoft 365 features only, so professional email on your own custom domain is not included. Microsoft's site lists custom business email with its business plans, not with Personal or Family. You can use Outlook for personal mail, but a company mailbox needs a business plan bought from Microsoft, such as Microsoft 365 Business Basic.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 subscription for the Office desktop apps?
